| To start with - THANK YOU! Yesterday was our annual Valley June Outdoor Raffle. Yes, we sold all 10,000 tickets! Yes, we set another record attendance. Yes, we had a windstorm and downpour towards the end of the Event.
As usual we had a great crowd. We specifically want to thank every person who helped to hold down our large tents during the windstorm. If you were there, you would have seen people out of the crowd jumping into action to save all our stuff from literally blowing away. Some of the larger tents required 50 people each. The windstorm was yet another first (and hopefully only) for BVFD.

We want to thank Myers Electric (ticket sponsor), Troop 76 (great partners), Irvin Farms (parking field), Penn Dot (safety sign), Representative Dan Moul (sign assistance), Heidlersburg FD (transfer crew) and last but not least --- The nearly 100 VOLUNTEERS that helped put on the best show in the Neighborhood!
