BVFD Volunteers responded to two incidents on Halloween:

14:36 - Working house fire in Fairfield. Engine Tanker 27 responded. Crews assisted with opening up and wetting down. The wagon hauled 12,000 gallons of water.

15:48 - Woods fire in Gardners. DFC 27 was in the area and located a quickly spreading brush/woods fire. Brush 27 responded as part of the "Brush Task-Force"

Units returned just in time to participate in the annual trick-or-treat activities. The nearly 20 Volunteers on station also enjoyed a small birthday celebration for Junior Firefighter Zachary Rugh.
