With today's warm and breezy weather, associated with the current dry conditions, BVFD Volunteers were kept busy:

#1. DFC 27 found a fence fire that quickly spread into a garage on Buchanan Valley Road (27-1). Brush and Engine Tanker 27 w/10 kept the fire from any further spread. Rescue Engine 27 was cancelled enroute.

#2. Engine Tanker and Rescue Engine 27 w/6 responded for the brush fire near a house on Pine Grove Furnace Rd (7-2). Crews assisted with a fire line and the pumper set up a fill site.

#3. Brush and Engine Tanker 27 w/12 are cleaning up from a brush fire on Church Road (27-1). Brush 27 quickly arrived and contained the fire from further spread
