With the current lack of rain, associated with the high winds today, there is an increased fire danger. Please try to refrain from any open burning. Also, make sure you are handling any ashes from wood stoves properly and wetting them down. BVFD is staffed by Volunteers ready to respond today if needed, to keep any brush fires small in nature.
