Today, Rescue Engine 27 attended the annual Adams County Water Supply Drill. This drill is conducted at the South Mountain Fairgrounds. This annual drill allows for mostly all of the County Departments to get a chance to conduct several different evolutions together. This is also a time to introduce new equipment or apparatus. Rural water supply is often identified in reports as training / experience that is lacking in the Fire Service. This joint training is just one way that the County is looking to overcome these challenges. BVFD would also like to thank the South Mountain Fair Grounds for again allowing us to use their great property for this drill.
