Brush 27 and Engine Tanker 27 with 10 volunteers responded along with 52 units to Box 252-02, Ridge Rd at the Appalachian Trail to investigate smoke in the area. Brush 27 arrived finding a 50×59 woods fire. The crew stretched a 400’ line containing the fire. The crew from the Engine Tanker assisted with overhauling the area. Crews worked for over an hour before picking up.
